Met One Instruments Introduces New Gas Analyzer Range: Source Your Class-Leading Particulate & Gas Monitoring Solutions From One Trusted Supplier

Met One Instruments GAS-1010: Ozone (03) analyzer with non-dispersive ultraviolet absorption – one of many new models in the comprehensive Met One gas analyzer range.

Met One Instruments, the global market leader in airborne particulate monitoring, has officially launched its new range of ‘Met One Instruments Powered by Acoem’ gas analyzers, gas calibrators, and air volume samplers at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s 2022 National Ambient Air Monitoring Conference (NAAMC) in Pittsburgh, PA. You can now rely on Met One to provide you with reference-quality gas analyzer instruments and the same commitment to service, quality, and craftsmanship you have come to expect from Met One, with the best after-sale support in the industry.

The addition of gas monitoring to its repertoire is the result of Met One’s integration into the Acoem Group in November 2021. Together, they have been focused on expansion opportunities and areas of synergy across the group. By expanding its core capabilities to incorporate this extensive range of multi-parameter gas analyzers, gas calibrators, and air volume samplers into its portfolio, Met One is affirming its reputation as a pioneer in air quality measurement and cementing Acoem’s position as the go-to environmental monitoring solution provider.

Already the gas analyzer instrument of choice for researchers, industry, and government agencies around the world:

Originally developed by Acoem under the Serinus® brand name, this range of gas instrumentation is used by government agencies, research institutes, and industries worldwide and is considered the gold standard in gas measuring instrumentation.

With Met One now part of the AcoemGroup, these trusted analyzers are being made available to Met One customers globally under the Met One Instruments banner, and initially feature 11 different standard and trace level gas analyzer models, four gas calibrators, and a low volume air sampler.

Proven technology that monitors 11 individual gas pollutants:

Based on the Serinus® range of existing international approvals, all Met One gas analyzers are U.S. EPA-approved.

All analyzers use the best technology, including non-dispersive ultraviolet absorption; chemiluminescence; non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) gas correlation spectroscopy; NDIR gas filter correlation; and pulsed UV fluorescent radiation.

With instruments from the Met One gas analyzer range, you have the power to measure all major gas pollutants and can integrate several different units into your air quality monitoring station in combination with one or more Met One particulate monitors. Gases monitored by the new Met One GAS-10XX series include:

  • Ammonia (NH3)
  • Carbon dioxide (CO2)
  • Carbon monoxide (CO)
  • Hydrogen sulfide (H2S)
  • Nitrogen dioxide (NO2)
  • Oxides of nitrogen (NO, NO2 & NOx)
  • Ozone (O3)
  • Sulfur dioxide (SO2)
  • Trace carbon monoxide (CO)
  • Trace oxides of nitrogen (NO, NO2, & NOx)
  • Total reduced sulfur (TRS)

The gas dilution calibrators with internal ozone generators and the flexible low-volume sampling platform for PM2.5, PM10, and TSP complement Met One’s offering.
