For example, Met One Instruments are currently used at the Alamo 5 Solar Project, known as “the steel forest” in Uvalde, Texas. This solar project is one of the world’s largest dual-axis tracker systems covering 900-acres. Alamo 5 features 380,000 high-efficiency solar modules paired with 9,000 Sun Action Trackers that will power 18,000 homes while displacing 150,000 metric tons of CO2 every year. The power generated from the entire Alamo Solar Farm will be enough to meet the electricity needs of 70,000 households.
