USB Drivers

DRIVER INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Select the appropriate file from the download options listed above.  Using Windows File Explorer, locate the .zip file and extract the contents to a temporary folder.

Manual install of the Windows 10, 11 USB Driver:

1. Using Windows File Explorer, locate the .zip file and extract the contents to a temporary folder, if not already done.
2. Right click on the “silabser.inf” file and select the Install option.  Note that this option will not be available if you try to run it from inside the .zip file; you must extract the contents to a temporary folder as instructed in Step 1 above.
3. Follow the onscreen instructions to perform the driver installation.
4. Delete the temporary folder and its contents once the installation is complete.

Manual install of the Windows 8.1/8/7/XP/Vista Driver:

1. Using Windows File Explorer, locate the .zip file and extract the contents to a temporary folder, if not already done.
2. Determine if you have 32-bit or 64-bit Windows.  If unknown, this information can be found in the Windows System menu.  Contact the site IT department if assistance is needed.
3. Double click to run the .exe file named CP210xVCPInstaller_xnn.exe (where xnn is x64 for 64-bit and x86 is for 32-bit)
4. Follow the onscreen instructions to perform the driver installation.
5. Delete the temporary folder and its contents once the installation is complete.
